ASTC Services to the People of Assam

1. ASTC own passenger bus services to all places of Assam and neighbouring states. Different types of buses starting from most luxurious buses made in India to mini district type buses suitable for hill routes.

2. City buses in the city of Guwahati. Latest type of low floor luxury buses named as Rihno buses are introduced on 1st January. Guwahati is the third city to introduce such type of city buses.

3. Stations with waiting rooms in all cities and towns in Assam. It is a fact that most of the towns in Assam grew up from the ASTC stations. Recently stations with waiting rooms are established in towns of W. Bengal and Tripura.

4. Computerized ticketing system in major towns in Assam. Now ASTC is introducing doorstep ticketing through agents in every locality in Guwahati and other towns using state of the art system through internet.

5. Courier service (through Assam courier service) to deliver documents through ASTC buses within shortest possible time to any destination reached by the buses.

6. Passenger services through private buses running under ASTC. People can avail frequent bus services to any place of Assam and neighbouring states with the most luxurious buses like executive class and A/C class.

7. Incentive to passengers. Discounts and gifts are offered to passengers buying tickets above Rs.75 through scratch card. Already one passenger got one Indica car. Innumerable passengers availed discounts. More cars are in line for offering to the passengers. 

8. Cargo service: ASTC also carries urgent delivery goods in the buses of it's own or running under ASTC.
